How to Make Cupcake Toppers

Supplies you will need.

Supplies I used.

Here are the instructions to make Cupcake toppers using our 2″ Party Circles.

What you will need:

– your printed party circles
– scissors
– large circle punch, I used the FISKARS “Round ’n Round Squeeze Punch (extra large)”
– cafe stir sticks, or lollipop sticks
– glue, or a glue stick
– string (if you are going to make a garland)

Step 1:

Cut down your sheet into strips making it easier for your circle punch to access the images. Line up your punch with a circle and punch it out. If you don’t have a circle punch you can use scissors.

Step 2:

Take a cafe stick and cut in half using scissors. Depending on how sharp your scissors are, you may have to put some more pressure to cut through the wood, be careful and don’t hurt yourself. If you have a better tool then scissors then by all means use it.

Step 3:

You will be gluing the party circles back to back with a cafe stick between. Put some glue on the back of two party circles, place your stick centered on one of the circles and then place the other circle on top of it all and smooth it out. Let dry.

Step 4:

Ice your cupcakes and stick in your toppers!

Don’t forget you can use party circles for all kind of things:
– Make a garland by gluing the circles along a piece of string.
– How about printing the circles on sticker paper and using them on loot bags or even the invitation envelope.
– Possibilities are endless. Have Fun!
